The Piedmont Colony of the Society is made up of the following counties: Alleghany, Wilkes, Surry, Yadkin, Davie, Davidson, Forsyth, Stokes, Rockingham, Guilford, Randolph, Cashwell, and Alamance.
Officers of the Piedmont Colony
The spring meeting and program of the Piedmont Colony will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Pennybyrn at Maryfield, 109 Penny Road, High Point, N.C. starting at 11:00 am. Program speaker will be Ms. Mary A. Browning, noted Genealogist and writer. Cost to attend $7.00, lunch is included. Send check to E. LaBella, 505 Tangle Drive, Jamestown, N.C. made out to Piedmont Colony, Mayflower Society before May 20th. The fall meeting of the Piedmont Colony will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Greensboro Historical Museum, 130 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. Sufficient parking is available at no charge. Cost to attend will be provided at a later date, estimate $12.00 per person. Lunch will be included. We will tour the historical museum which has many excellent new displays. You can sign up now by calling A. M. Sampson 336-454-5783.
